VICRYL™ Absorbable Suture Reel, Tie, Undyed, Size 4/0, 54" (135 cm) is a sterile, synthetic braided suture composed of polyglactin 910, a copolymer of 90% glycolide and 10% L-lactide. It is designed to provide reliable tensile strength during the critical phases of wound healing, followed by complete hydrolytic absorption.

The braided construction ensures excellent knot security and flexibility, with ease of handling that facilitates precise placement and consistent knotting. The undyed configuration minimizes visual interference in surgical fields and is preferred in procedures where pigment deposition must be avoided.

Commonly used in general surgery, gynecology, orthopedics, and ophthalmology, this 4/0 undyed suture is particularly suited for delicate tissue approximation and internal ligatures. It is not recommended for cardiovascular or neurological applications.
