Coated Vicryl Plus Antibacterial Suture, Violet Braided, Ct-2 Needle, Size 2-0, 27" is designed for use in soft tissue approximation and ligation where infection risk is a concern. The suture incorporates antibacterial technology, proven to inhibit the growth of common surgical site pathogens such as Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, MRSA, and MRSE. 

The suture is coated to improve handling characteristics, providing smooth passage through tissue and facilitating ease of knot tying. The violet braided construction ensures excellent knot security and flexibility. The size 2-0 diameter balances strength and tissue compatibility, suitable for medium to heavy tissue closures. 

The Ct-2 needle used with this suture is a taper point design, ideal for delicate tissue penetration with minimal trauma. The needle's half-circle curvature and sharp tip enable precise control during suturing, contributing to efficient wound closure.
