Coated Vicryl Plus Antibacterial Suture, Undyed Braided, Ct-2 Needle, Size 2-0, 27", is a synthetic absorbable suture designed for secure soft tissue approximation and ligation. The suture’s braided structure enhances flexibility, knot security, and handling characteristics, making it suitable for a wide range of surgical applications. 

The suture features an antibacterial coating that has demonstrated in vitro efficacy against common surgical site pathogens, including Staphylococcus aureus, Staphylococcus epidermidis, methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus epidermidis (MRSE). 

Equipped with a reverse cutting needle, the suture provides precise penetration and excellent control in dense or tough tissues. The needle design minimizes trauma while enabling smooth and accurate suturing, especially in skin and other fibrous tissues. The undyed suture color allows for better visualization in various surgical fields without compromising tissue contrast.
