Description

The Intubating Stylet, 10Fr, is a flexible airway management aid designed to assist in the precise placement of endotracheal tubes during intubation. It features a malleable aluminum core that provides excellent shaping capabilities, enabling clinicians to customize the curvature for optimal anatomical alignment during insertion procedures.

Encasing the aluminum is a plastic sheath with a lubricated Satin-Slip® surface. This proprietary surface treatment minimizes friction between the stylet and the inner lumen of the endotracheal tube, allowing for smoother insertion and withdrawal while reducing resistance that could otherwise cause difficulty during manipulation.

An important safety feature of this stylet is the sheath extension, which goes beyond the tip of the internal aluminum rod. This design significantly reduces the risk of mucosal or tracheal injury in the event the stylet advances slightly beyond the end of the endotracheal tube, offering an extra layer of protection during critical procedures.
