Stratafix Symmetric PDS Plus Half-Circle Suture, Taper Point, CTXB, Size 0, 60 cm length, is a synthetic absorbable suture designed for secure and reliable soft tissue approximation. Made from polydioxanone (PDS), the suture provides extended tensile strength and predictable absorption, supporting tissue healing over an extended period. 

The suture features a symmetric barbed design with evenly spaced barbs on both sides of the filament, which enhances tissue grip and distributes tension uniformly along the wound. This design provides knotless wound closure, reducing bulk and operative time while maintaining excellent wound edge approximation and minimizing tissue trauma.

Equipped with a half-circle CTXB taper point needle, the suture allows smooth penetration through soft tissue with minimal trauma. The taper point needle facilitates precise needle placement and controlled passage through delicate tissues, optimizing healing conditions.
