Omnipaque Injection, 300 mg/mL, is a nonionic, water-soluble radiographic contrast medium designed to enhance the visibility of internal structures during imaging procedures such as computed tomography (CT), angiography, and urography. The solution contains iohexol, an iodine-based compound that provides enhanced contrast through its ability to absorb X-rays, improving the clarity of diagnostic images. 

Omnipaque 300 mg/mL offers a low-osmolarity profile, which reduces the risk of adverse reactions compared to high-osmolar contrast media. This characteristic makes it particularly valuable for patients with sensitive reactions to contrast agents, such as those with pre-existing renal conditions or allergies. 

The solution is intended for intravenous or intra-arterial administration, depending on the type of procedure.
