Description

Omnipaque 300 mg/mL, available in a 50 mL PlusPak polymer bottle, is a contrast agent primarily used in diagnostic imaging procedures such as X-ray, computed tomography (CT) scans, and angiography. It contains iohexol, a non-ionic, water-soluble compound that enhances the visibility of blood vessels, tissues, and organs during radiologic examinations.

The PlusPak packaging is designed for safety and convenience, featuring a pull-ring and twist-off cap to avoid finger injuries. It also includes peel-off tracking labels for easy documentation and storage. The compact design of the bottle ensures space efficiency while maintaining sterility.

Omnipaque should be protected from strong daylight and direct exposure to sunlight. It is recommended to store the product at a controlled room temperature between 20 and 25 degrees C (68 to 77 degrees F) to maintain its efficacy. It may be stored in a contrast media warmer for up to one month at 37 degrees C (98.6 degrees F) for easy access during medical procedures.
