Naloxone Single-Dose Vial (SDV) 0.4 mg/1 mL is an opioid antagonist used for the rapid reversal of opioid overdose. It is specifically designed to counteract the life-threatening effects of opioid toxicity, such as respiratory depression, sedation, and loss of consciousness. Naloxone works by competitively binding to opioid receptors in the central nervous system, displacing opioid molecules and preventing further activation of these receptors.

Each single-dose vial contains 0.4 mg of naloxone hydrochloride in 1 mL of solution, intended for intramuscular, intravenous, or subcutaneous injection.
