Description

Ketorolac Tromethamine 60mg/2mL is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) formulated for intramuscular (IM) injection. It contains 60 mg of ketorolac tromethamine in 2 mL of sterile solution, corresponding to a 3% concentration. The product is provided in a single-dose glass vial with a purple cap, ensuring it is sterile and suitable for IM administration only.

Ketorolac functions by inhibiting the production of prostaglandins, chemicals in the body involved in inflammation, pain, and fever. As a potent analgesic, it offers effective short-term relief from moderate to severe acute pain. Its role is especially valuable for pain management where opioid analgesia is indicated but short-term treatment is needed.

Indicated for the management of acute pain, Ketorolac is typically utilized for conditions such as postoperative pain, musculoskeletal injuries, and severe migraines.
