Description

Ketorolac 30 mg/mL is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) available in a single-dose vial designed for injection. It is formulated with ketorolac tromethamine, a potent NSAID indicated for the short-term management of moderate to severe acute pain. This medication is frequently used when analgesia at the opioid level is required, offering an effective alternative for pain relief without the risk of opioid dependency.

Ketorolac works by inhibiting the cyclooxygenase (COX-1 and COX-2) enzymes, reducing prostaglandin synthesis. This mechanism decreases inflammation, alleviates pain, and reduces fever. It is particularly effective for post-operative pain management and other acute painful conditions requiring rapid analgesic intervention.

This product is not intended for long-term use and should not be administered for more than five consecutive days. Prolonged use may increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding, ulceration, or renal complications.
