HYMOVIS® is a sterile, non-pyrogenic, viscoelastic hydrogel formulated with modified, non-crosslinked hyaluronate, indicated for the treatment of pain associated with osteoarthritis (OA) of the knee. This injectable formulation is designed to restore the viscosity and elasticity of the synovial fluid, which is often reduced in patients suffering from OA.

The product comes in a prefilled syringe containing a 3 mL dose. Each syringe is single-use only, ensuring sterile administration. HYMOVIS® works by replenishing the hyaluronic acid in the knee joint, which may help improve the lubrication and cushioning of the joint, resulting in pain relief and enhanced movement.

HYMOVIS® has a viscoelastic property, allowing it to mimic the natural synovial fluid within the knee joint. By improving the viscosity, it facilitates smoother joint movement, helping to alleviate the discomfort and limitations associated with osteoarthritis. It does not alter the underlying disease but targets the symptoms.
